Ice Centres

Based on the changing situation with the COVID-19 virus, all City of Lethbridge recreation and culture facilities will be closed as of Monday, March 16.
These closures are in place until further notice as a precautionary measure and to best minimize the risk to our community.

Looking to go public skating, take some skating lessons or rent the ice at one of our facilities? You've come to the right place.

The City of Lethbridge operates 6 indoor ice centres with 7 ice surfaces, that are home to a variety of different sports. All arenas are open during the winter season (September to March ) and a minimum of 2 ice centres are available during the summer season (April to August).

Outdoor Skating

Weather permitting, outdoor skating is available in designated areas on Henderson Lake, Chinook Lake and Nicholas Sheran Lake.
