Small Picnic Shelters
Kiwanis, Baroness & Nicholas Sheran Picnic Shelters
User Group Insurance is required when renting a picnic shelter. Access to the facility will NOT be granted until proof of insurance is received. Bookings will be cancelled if proof of insurance is not provided. All refund requests are subject to the Picnic Shelter Cancellation Policy as outlined in the Terms & Conditions of Use.
Kiwanis Picnic Shelter (located in Henderson Park)
- $37+GST per hour
- Rentable hours: 9am - 10pm
- Available for bookings May 1 - October 1
- Unfenced and available to the public outside of booking use. Those with a booking will take precedence over drop-in users
- Unserviced, first-come-first-serve basis October 2 - April 30. Special Event bookings made through the Recreation & Culture office will take precedence over first-come-first-serve users during the off-season
- Alcohol is NOT permitted
- Seats 36 people. 6 tables
- Electricity & drinking water (with booking only)
- Playground & washrooms nearby
- Bouncy castles permitted. Contact leisure@lethbridge.ca for safety requirements
- Power supply is only 120 volts. User must supply any required adapters or generator needed for bouncy castle use.
- A site locate request MUST be completed prior to your event. Requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to your booking date: Click before you dig
- Irrigation locates must also be completed by filling out the form below
Baroness Picnic Shelter (located in Indian Battle Park)
- $37+GST per hour
- Rentable hours: 9am - 10pm
- Available for bookings May 1 - October 1
- Unfenced and available to the public outside of booking use. Those with a booking will take precedence over drop-in users
- Unserviced, first-come-first-serve basis October 2 - April 30. Special Event bookings made through the Recreation & Culture office will take precedence over first-come-first-serve users during the off-season
- Alcohol is NOT permitted
- Seats 36 people. 6 tables
- Electricity (with booking only)
- Drinking water is located on the exterior of the washrooms located to the south of the picnic area
- Playground & washrooms nearby
- Bouncy castles permitted. Contact leisure@lethbridge.ca for safety requirements
- Power supply is only 120 volts. User must supply any required adapters or generator needed for bouncy castle use.

- Fire pit (limited amount of wood provided with booking upon request only)
